You should be able to see all your week, month & year entries in your daily view as well. This could be a user preference and select week/month/year on an individual basis

Great suggestion. I would like to see this week’s tasks to pull something in switching views. Seeing week’s tasks can also help to avoid duplication in case a similar task is already in the wee’s tasks.
