I've just released the final part of filtering & sorting that I plan to build for now!
For filter lists (when you go to add > add filter), there's a new filter setting for dates > 'between' which lets you choose a given period i.e. 2023, but it also works for relative periods i.e. yesterday, next week.
This is also available when using the view settings to filter lists and tags :)
If any of you have new suggestions for filtering/sorting please create a new ticket.

Today I've released the ability to filter what is shown on any list of entries view. By going to the three dots > view settings you can filter by
- task, note or event
- importance
Or choose wether to show prompt notes, completed or cancelled tasks.

Another release towards this goal
- I've now added sorting for each view.
- Filtering device calendars. So now the day view can show a subset of your device calendars, and the year view can show a different subset.
Under the hood, I've changed a lot about how device calendars work and now events from your device calendar are sorted properly - before I was using some hacks, but now they are treated the same way as your own created events. It means they are also searchable now.
Next I will be working on adding filters to existing views e.g. customizing which of your created entries are shown on the year view, hiding completed tasks etc.

Today, one part of this is released - Filter lists! You can create filters from the side menu - go to Add > Add filter and you can create new lists that are automatically generated. There are filter groups and filter rules, so you can get very specific!
These Filter lists are not sortable yet and are a Premium feature.
Next I will be working on sorting of any list of entries.

Filter entries by date (from - to) and by tags or other identifiers. I capture work related reflections in my BuJo and generating reports with summary overview (time spent on activities by tag / class) would help with appraisal. Also, just understanding where I’m spending my time (work / leisure) would help me understand my work / life balance

It would be really useful to have a sort feature; for example, to organize according to type of entry, importance, category, etc. Something like how Notion works. I also like the feature of tracking when the note was first created, as it gives a sense of when this was first created, and possibly can organize according to it (this can be helpful is specific cases like with Lists.
