In the current system, tasks cannot be shown into the future, because of the way the overdue tasks can be re-scheduled. In some scenarios, it's possible to show tasks into the future, so I made a ticket here for it. Please vote on it if it's something you'd like.

Fix incoming for two issues:
- When changing from a day/week/month/year period to another as you have all noted
- When adding sub-entries by updating the repeater template, it will update the current entry with those sub-entries too.
Thanks for your feedback! Keep it coming :)

Everything works fine except that tasks disappear if you change scheduled period. For example a task that repeat every week that is scheduled this week will disappear if you schedule it to today. It also doesn’t appear again if you schedule it back to this week. It can only be found in search.

Some tasks found in search can be scheduled back to its regular interval.
Another feedback. I would like a similar option as overdue items when you complete future tasks. For example if you have a task scheduled tomorrow and you complete it today it would be nice to be asked what day the tasks was completed on.

I'm also having some trouble with new repeaters, when trying to migrate from an interval to a day
Eg my current one, I have a week scope task repeating every 4 weeks. I'll migrate the current instance from Week 49 to Today (because I have time to do it today) and it just disappears from all interval views. I can only see it through search or the list/tags I've assigned it to.
Ive had some other oddities with a daily overdue repeater become duplicated, but I havent tried to replicate that after just deleting and recreating it.
All my repeaters have been upgraded.
PS. I anticipate the various interval/scopes and migration is quite complex, but it's a really valuable part of Bullet for me so I appreciate the effort

I'm getting an "upgrade repeater" message on my repeating tasks, but the app (android and web) is up to date

Thoughtless Flss: Please go into each task that says you need to upgrade, and then assign a new repeater

Ever since the repeaters were changed my recurring tasks are not working right. If I assign a weekly repeating task to a specific day, the task disappears, and vice versa. When I complete a recurring task with subtasks, the next time it recurs the subtasks are removed from the parent task and show up in my inbox instead.

Anonymous Vivie: Have you upgraded your repeaters?
A

Hamish Yes, that is when the problems started
Hamish
Anonymous Vivie Please can you make a screen recording of you creating a repeating task, with sub-entries and completing it, and showing the next item. Please send it to my email hamish@bullet.to
