Too many changes

In my opinion Bullet is no longer a nice simple little app and has become a lot more complicated to use. I still use only the functions when it first became available and these are the most useful for me.

a so much complete app can't be so simple.
before i've had this all i had 3 different ones serving for different purpouse and yes, when i tried this one i had to read a tutorial and learn how to use markdown, but now i have just one all-around app for everything, it
is
simpler.Hamish
Other feedback I received
"I hope you continue to keep it clean and don’t let it get bogged down adding requests that take it away from being a bullet journal. I used the excellent app Craft for a while, until they started adding things like collaboration and too many styling options. "

For me Bullet is as simple as it was when I started using last year.
I don't see it as any more complicated to use.
Being "Friction Free" is what drew me to Bullet and caused me to leave other apps.

That is an excellent strategy and I use only what I need, mostlyto post daily reminders to myself and save a few bookmarks. I had experimented with some of the other features but have found other apps for to-do lists, fitness tracking and PKM. Bullet is the perfect app for what I need it for :-) and thank you for being so responsive to the users!

Vicious Annadiana: I'd love to know whu you choose not to use bullet for to-do lists! :)

Keeping Bullet simple has been a core aim of mine, so this is very important to me!
Whenever I produce a change, I like it to be opt-in. So that it changes very little about the existing functionality if you don't use the feature. E.g. the habits button only appears if you create a habit.
Can you give more information about what has become more complicated, or any more context that you can think of.
I'll keep this open as a discussion for anyone who wants to chime in

I prefer the KISS model to my personal productivity, but find the current version could use just a few more tweaks to be efficient. I agree it does not need to be an enterprise collaborative feature plugging beast as there are other apps out there for it or even purpose built. This should fit somewhere between those and paper and has done a great good job to stay minimal and viable.
